Lighting
Light makes an action readable and helps establish depth and time of day. Describe its direction, softness and source, then relate it to the subject. A mood word alone leaves those choices open. Russian terms: свет.
Studio example
Section titled “Studio example”A broad window on the left softly illuminates the watchmaker’s hands. A small warm desk lamp separates the open watch from the darker bench.
Write this in the scene’s visual brief or Prompt for the model. If a first frame already has strong noon light, revise that frame before requesting a night scene; conflicting inputs can pull the result in different directions.
Verify the result
Section titled “Verify the result”Check faces, shadows, highlights and whether the important action stays visible. In the 5 October Gemini Omni style-clip test, warm color and backlight transferred while camera movement remained partial. That tests one reference workflow, not general lighting precision.
Availability and evidence
Section titled “Availability and evidence”This technique is documented as an authoring or workflow practice. It is available only through the stated inputs and operations; it is not a new model parameter. An unrendered example is untested. A dated successful case is an observation for its exact model, version, quality and mode, not a guarantee for another scene. Choose a model by the required operation first.

See the model–technique applicability matrix for connected operations, dated outcomes and configurations that remain untested.
Reviewed 14 October 2026 against the current Studio authoring contract and the evidence described above. No new paid render was made for this example.
