Continuity between shots
Continuity keeps character, place, props and action state consistent across a cut or extension. Reusing a description is helpful, but does not make separate generations identical. Russian terms: непрерывность, стык.
Studio example
Section titled “Studio example”The first clip ends with the courier holding the closed parcel in the left hand. The next clip begins in that pose before the courier places it on the bench.
Record the approved ending state and carry the relevant Elements into the next scene. For extension, choose a model and mode that actually supports it and supply the source clip. For an independently generated shot, prepare a matching opening image when that is available.
Verify the result
Section titled “Verify the result”Check the cut frame by frame: hand position, gaze, prop state, clothing, lighting and movement direction. Seedance 2.0 Fast and 2.5 clean-frame extension tests retained the character and setting on 30 September; the 2.5 gesture was approximate. That does not guarantee a long chain of clips.
Availability and evidence
Section titled “Availability and evidence”This technique is documented as an authoring or workflow practice. It is available only through the stated inputs and operations; it is not a new model parameter. An unrendered example is untested. A dated successful case is an observation for its exact model, version, quality and mode, not a guarantee for another scene. Choose a model by the required operation first.

See the model–technique applicability matrix for connected operations, dated outcomes and configurations that remain untested.
Reviewed 14 October 2026 against the current Studio authoring contract and the evidence described above. No new paid render was made for this example.
