Seedream 5.0 Lite
Seedream 5.0 Lite is an image model by ByteDance. An image generation and editing option. “Lite” is a model-family name; compare the actual available dimensions and controls instead of assuming it is a strict subset of Pro.

| Element input form | sheet |
| Maximum image references | 14 |
Limits apply together. initial is the studio choice for a new node; default is the fallback for an existing node without that value. Declared language or input support does not guarantee a successful result.
Prompting playbook
Section titled “Prompting playbook”Use a few clear sentences about objects and their relationships. Assign each image reference a role. For a sequence concept, describe the recurring identity and the changed action separately.
Studio example
Section titled “Studio example”On an Image node (Картинка), choose Seedream 5.0 Lite. Supply the input image or Element when the selected operation requires a reference. Use this original example as a starting point:
The same fictional gardener stands beside the same greenhouse in early morning. Show the red wheelbarrow behind the gardener and the blue watering can in their right hand. Keep the striped apron from the reference.
Review the prompt and expected format before running. Compare the output against the source, including hands, face, object count, lettering and crop. Use the resulting scene image as a video first frame only after approving it. For automation, follow the supported MCP workflow.
Known failure modes
Section titled “Known failure modes”Good detail does not prove consistency between views. Recheck hair, clothing, markings and small accessories whenever the same subject appears more than once.
Evidence and limits
Section titled “Evidence and limits”A 16 August 2026 character-sheet study produced detailed inserts but changed hair color and tattoos between views. That makes it a partial identity result; the maximum reference count was not empirically tested.
An available reference input is not a guarantee of identity preservation. See reference workflows and image style samples. Generation and editing are different tasks; keep their evidence separate.
Reviewed 14 October 2026 against Vini’s image registry and dated research. Official model-author documentation checked on that date. Recheck the guidance when the model version or connected operation changes.
